Beth is the managing partner at the Burdge & Wells Law Office in Dayton, Ohio. She joined the firm in 2004 and concentrates her practice on consumer protection cases, including lemon law, breach of warranty, and consumer fraud cases for RVs. Beth has represented consumers nationwide in mediations, jury trials, arbitration hearings, and before courts of appeals in Ohio, Kentucky, Iowa, Indiana and various federal courts throughout the country.

Beth co-authored a chapter of the Baldwin’s Ohio Consumer Law Handbook on the Assistive Device Lemon Law, and has co-edited three chapters of the Baldwin’s Ohio Consumer Law Handbook on the Ohio Lemon Law, Odometer Fraud, and Assistive Device Lemon Law since 2007. The Baldwin’s Ohio Consumer Law Handbook is widely considered to be the leading authority on Consumer Law in Ohio.

Beth was selected by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Super Lawyer, in the practice area of Consumer Law, in 2025. Prior to that, Beth was selected by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star, in the practice area of Consumer Law, in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Only 2.5 percent of the attorneys in Ohio under 40  years old are selected to the Rising Stars list and only 5 percent of all attorneys in Ohio are selected to the Super Lawyer list. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service for attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a statewide survey of attorneys, independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.

Beth is a graduate of Clemson University, where she received her bachelor degree cum laude. While attending Clemson, she was also a member of the varsity cross country and track teams, receiving All-ACC honors in both for her performances on the race course and in the classroom.

Beth received her law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law, cum laude. While at the University of Toledo, she participated in Law Review as an associate member, and later as a Note and Comment Editor.

Beth has spoken as a guest lecturer on Consumer Law topics at national seminars and conferences throughout her career, and at the University of Toledo College of Law.

Beth is a member of the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa and Saint Joseph County Bar Associations, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Beth was the vicechair of the Dayton Bar Briefs Committee in both 2012 and 2013

When Beth is not representing consumers in Court or at her desk, her competitive spirit finds its outlet in running as a member of the Dayton Track Club Elite racing team. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
